There is another reason that was proposed by the scientists of Harvard that even the failure of Melanocyte stem cells abbreviated as MSC that is highly responsible for maintaining the production of Melanocytes could ultimately result in drying. There can be several causes as to why graying happens and to mention the few reasons one could due to hereditary and the other could lack of proper vitamin. Graying can also take place due to thyroid imbalance or it could be due to lack of vitamin B12.   Graying can also happen from a fright or psychological shock or trauma. When a person undergoes severe shock the thicker and darker hair stops growing that give rise to Alopecia areata which causes patch on the scalp followed by growing gray hair. It can also be due to certain illness and strong medication. Smoking has been conclusively associated to accelerated hair loss and graying.

The chances of going gray increase 10-20% every decade after 30 years. Going gray in natural but if it takes place around 50 and it is unnatural when it happens in the early age. So to fix this problem there are several hair care products that may help us but before that we need to know the reason. There are gray hair vitamins available in the market that might help you to combat the problem. You can seek for good hair experts who can advice you correctly.
