Does Color Shampoo Work To Cover Gray Hair

There is a growing trend towards using natural ingredients to change hair color, such as lemon juice to lighten hair etc.

Grey hair is different to your original hair color, and the products that would once have worked may be ineffective on your gray. Therefore, many grey hair sufferers want to know does color shampoo work to cover gray hair.

There are many color shampoos on the market, and many of them use vegetable dyes to temporarily cover the hair with a uniform color. However, there are some products that have been specifically designed to cover the gray.

Although some shampoo style products will only darken the hair slightly, you would need a product that stated that it offered perfect grey coverage. Many products actually say that they are not suitable for covering gray.

So, if you are searching for color shampoo because you want to avoid conventional dye or because you have already tried home remedies for grey hair that have not given satisfactory results, why not try another option. Why not check out GetAwayGrey for a natural alternative to reversing your grey hair.

The natural products might be especially useful for someone like cupcake below, who has black hair. This is because gray hair often shows worse the darker hair the hair is, and someone with black hair may have to dye hair every three to four weeks to keep the gray hair covered.

cupcake asked:

My hair is black and I have some grey hairs.

I want to cover the grey hairs.

Is there a hair coloring shampoo that really works?

If so, what product do you recommend?

Alternatively, is there another way to reverse my grey hair?

I do not really want to use chemical filled products.

Thank you.

Probably not, but it wouldn’t hurt to try it. Since it’s just shampoo, it won’t do your hair any harm. Most likely, you need to try semi-permanent or permanent color. Good luck!
