Well, I don’t know if it is that common but I have heard of it. I know someone who got gary head in high school too.

Yes. It really depends on your genetic make-up. Look at Taylor Hicks (American Idol). I have a very close friend that went gray at 18. I also have a friend that went bald at 20. I think I would rather be gray and still have hair than none at all.

I have a first cousin who started turning totally gray at age 18. So much of it is heredity. So much more is your levels of stress.

Have you seen an OB-GYN or you rother doctor??

It is different for every one. My brother in law was in his early 20′s. I am in my late 20′s and have none. I knew a guy in high school who was bald already. Genetics and stress are a big part of that kind of stuff.

It has to do with genetics.

I’m almost 15 and sometimes I get gray hairs. It’s because I was given that trait from my Dad. When he was my age he got gray hairs too.
I also get gray hairs from when I get stressed and upset. Sometimes the hair is half dark brown (my hair color) and half gray.

You’re not getting old, it’s just a trait you inherited from a family member. Just pull them out. If you are getting a lot you can buy a hair dye that is the exact color of your hair and just dye your hair to cover the gray.

    ‘Hope I helped!

Curiously most of us get our first grey hair after 27 years of age. Why do we go grey? In a gorilla population, the dominant male is called a silverback. That’s just a romantic way of saying he’s gone grey. Grey hair is what you get when you’ve been around, obviously. It’s a sign of seniority, like antlers. Neither are good camouflage, they’re handicaps, to show your strength and skill outpaces all the inconvenience. Pure white hair is unnatural in the sense that when you’ve been around that long, it makes it easier for predators to see you and mop you up.
